And I'm baaaaack! Sorry there's, er, not much dialogue in this page. At least almost halfway through chapter one... It's Adventures in Vanishing Points, Yeey!
What this page makes me think of is the relationship between Riku, Sora and Kairi, and how Riku's really grown from the competitive, insecure boy to a mature, caring and loyal adult. Him smiling to himself over Sora's typical reaction complex problems, in particular, seems symptomatic of this change. I have to say I really like Riku's personality in this comic. Sora and Kairi's too, but Riku stands out in this regard (also for being in the limelight, of course).
The perspective on the last panel is winsome.
And Xehanort-looking Riku makes a reappearance in the second panel, face-wise. Interesting how the appearance can be so similar, while one has what the other longs for but fails to care about, and the other lacks the understanding gained through trial and error (I'd say, having read the story before, that it only makes it more painful and tragic to think about!).
^^ Lynx, you're doing a splendid job as usual~ ^^ The source material was fantastic too, and I'm excited to see how you choose to put words and art together. I'm already thinking about fanart, 'cause... well, cause. XD
I'm glad I found this after you already uploaded a billion pages ;D
Now I don't have to wait >D
