8-bit Romance

I've been doing an exercise every day I'm calling waking-up drawings...where I have a sketchbook right by my bed, and then draw something right when I first wake up. The results are usually strange and surreal, since I'm still sort of half-asleep and my "censor" brain isn't on yet. A lot of the images are also what I remember from dreams.

I thought I would try and color a few of these drawings, since they're usually just in ink. So here's a color version of one of those drawings, "8-bit Romance."

This was also my first time really trying out a pixel program, since it only seemed right to color it with pixels. Using a pixel program is rather fun, if not tricky and time-consuming. So you'll have to forgive me if my pixel art is not as awesome as what some people can do!
