All Hearts - Maleficent, Diablo and Imp by LynxGriffin All Hearts - Maleficent, Diablo and Imp by LynxGriffin
131-133 of 262 characters for my redoing of All Hearts. Finally got to one of the primary villains in the series, Maleficent! I also included her crow, Diablo, and one of the imps that appears only in BBS, but let's face it...most people are here for Maleficent.

She was an awesome villain and boss in KH1, although she got a little less tooth-y in other games with her evil plan being a basic real estate grab. But, it looks like she might be coming back into more evil plans with later games...at least, she felt threatening enough in BBS and 3D.

And no matter what game she's in, fighting her is always pretty tough.

Funny thing about her minions is that they never really say what they are, imps, goblins, I personally call em moblins, cause like in the zelda cartoon, you can't rely on em at all XD

Yeah, no clue what they're really supposed to be...imo seems as good a term as any!

I just call them 'goons' since they're too cartoonish to be scary, and they're not exactly the brightest bunch of minions....

Small wonder why Maleficent traded them in for the Heartless.

Yeah, Maleficent seems to have a habit of picking rather incompetent henchmen.

The goons, yeah...

Pete, he may be stupid, but he has a kind of intelligence of his own- he's smart enough to gather heartless from worlds over to organize massive armies- and can command them, to boot. Heck, he even coordinated some skullduggery on the side with other villains like Hades and Scar, while he was going about the army building bits.

At the same time, he seems to know when things might start turning ugly- like over in the World That Never Was, he had a feeling, no, he knew the limitations of ordering Heartless around- he know that in that place, so close to the cores of darkness, they would not listen to him. He also knows when to retreat to fight another day, something Maleficent failed to do.

He's dumb enough that you don't take him seriously, but he's smart enough to constitute a potentially dangerous threat, if left to his own devices.

Or, at least, that's my thought on Pete as a henchman.

True, of all the henchmen she's picked, Pete was probably the most competent. Heck, he even managed to get some time travel in there on his own! ;)

I remember when I first heard of the heartless blitzkrieg on the castle, I was thinking someone real calculating must have coordinated it, but I never thought for a second it would be Pete who set it up through his time travel business...
