For my final project for Surface Modeling this term, I decided to do the Strahl from FFXII. It's been a bit challenging (and with no good ortho views there are parts that are incorrect) but otherwise, I'm happy with how it's come out so far!

This is just a WIP; I still have one of the smaller wings, a few extra details and then the huge wings in the back left to do. (And the large wings will probably be the trickiest part). It should be done within the next week and a half or so. :P

Nice man! I use Maya as well, but generally use polygons for characters & vehicles.

OMG you are AWESOME!!! lol. I don't play videogames--I suck at it--But my hubby does and I love watching, and FFXII is my favorite! (With God of War II at a close second) Balthier is particularly similar to said hubby, and therefore my fav character. I can't wait to see your rendition of the Strahl finished!!!
