HP Value Study 2 by LynxGriffin HP Value Study 2 by LynxGriffin
*collapse* Even more on this homework-posting spree! @_@ Been drawing stuff for class nearly all day...

This is for Production Design II, where we're finally getting into one of my favorite things: creature design! Since we're still sticking with the Harry Potter universe, these are the two creature-characters I worked on: Buckbeak, and Fenrir (in wolf form.)

Again, mostly just value studies...I'll conquer this elusive business of painting with values only eventually! For Fenrir, I wanted to do something both different from the movies and different from my usual werewolves for "Lunargyros," so I went for a more ape-like wolf look. o_o

I love what you did with Buckbeak's design. I've always been much more literal when it comes to werewolves and their look, so Fenrir isn't my favorite - though still better than most!

Thanks a bunch! I tend to prefer werewolves to look like actual wolves too; just wanted to try something a bit different with this one.

Beautiful. They would be cool little gesture drawings as well.

great job with the creature design and the values.

Hmm, the horse half on Buckbeak is a little skinny- it may just be the fluffyness of the feathers, but it seems a bit unnatural. Still, the were-wolf is awsome. Me likes.
