My mom commissioned me to paint a portrait of Sunshine, our lab. It's the first time I've picked up actual paints in yeeeeeeeeears, sheesh. Far from perfect as far as painting goes, and not an exact match to the photo I took of her for reference, but my mom liked it, which I guess is what's ultimately important. Either way, it was fun to do actual "real" painting again. I should do it more often.
