Well, since it is now officially December, the time to request Heartless/Nobody/Unversed commissions is now over! I've still got a couple to do that I got at the last minute, so there'll be one or two more. Also, if you requested something during the month of November but haven't actually paid yet, please do so ASAP.

I've also got a couple other normal commissions to start on, and those normal ones are still open.

I just wanted to say thank you everyone who commissioned me for these! They were fun to do, so I may do something like that again in the future.

And holy cow, I can't believe 2009 is almost over! @___@

This is just a reminder that there is now less than a week to ask for a Heartless commission for November! I need all requests in by the 30th, and preferably all payments in by then, too. So if you'd like one, now is the time to ask!

After some deliberation, I decided to raise the prices for these Heartless commissions three dollars, so they are now 8 dollars each. I decided to do this because demand has been pretty high, and I'm fast discovering that I'm spending quite a bit more time on these Heartless commishes than I was expecting to. @_@ SO, to help even that out, I think it's fair to ask for a little bit more for each commission. It's still cheaper than what I normally charge, just not quite at those low levels for the amount of time I've ended up spending on them. XD

That said, if you've already paid for a commission, you do NOT have to send more. This doesn't work retrospectively, just for people who were thinking of getting one and haven't paid yet. Thank you everyone who has commissioned one so far, they are fun to do!

Okay, I'm in need of some extra cash nowadays, so I thought it would be fun to try something a little different for commissions. Therefore, for this month of November, I'm doing 8-Dollar Heartless Commissions! They work as such:

- Pick any character you want, whether from any fandom or an original character of yours.
- Pick whether you want them drawn as a Heartless, Nobody or Unversed. (And for Nobodies, be aware that it's not drawing them as an Organization member, but rather as a Lesser Nobody.)
- For only $8.00, I'll give you a full color picture of your character-turned-Heartless! This is less than what I usually charge for color commissions, so it is a great deal!

Interested? Here's just a few things to keep in mind:
- If you pick an original character or a character I don't know, it would help to provide either a written description of them, or a picture of them. Also notes on their personality/powers would help.
- I very very strongly prefer being paid through PayPal. However, snail mail can be negotiated in certain situations.
- These 8-dollar commissions are only available through the month of November, so ask for them during this month!

Aaaand I am off today to San Diego Comic Con for a week with with friends, fun and geekery! It should be pretty packed there in San Diego, but I'm looking forward to it! If you're there, look for me, I'll be one of the crazy people just wandering around the dealer's hall...okay, so it might be kind of hard to find me then. But if you do, say hello!

You may have noticed that I've been fairly absent from posting any arts around here for a few weeks. That's because I got some contract work doing animation for a sci-fi/horror film coming out later this year! If you want to check it out, look for the movie "Growth" on DVD later this year. It's not for the younger audiences, I can say, but if you like campy creepy, gross-out horror flicks, then you might get a kick out of it!

Anyways, that's what has been eating all of my time, since doing all that animation was pretty time-consuming. However, my contract work is up now so I'll be back at some art soon! Doing the animation was a great learning experience, if nothing else!
