Dragon Graveyard - final

I kinda marathoned all of the painting for this for about five hours this morning. XD Anyways, my final for Imaginative Landscapes...we went to the Getty to sketch ideas for our final project, and I really liked some of the photographs they had in an exhibit on 19th century photos of Southern California, so I used one for the layout, along with a few other things from the museum.

So I figured this would be something like the exit from the dragon graveyard, when the river of souls is starting to dissipate back into regular water, and the hero character has just escaped.

Done with colored pencil and Photoshop!
